Prada Spring 2012 was once again about retro-glam with Miuccia’s take on the 50’s that was both edgy and sweet. Using automobiles as inspiration, she sent the models out in full skirts and boxy jackets, bandeau tops with pencil skirts, printed bathing suits and a few pieces in actual car prints. The looks were accompanied with her signature crystal jewelry and covetable shoes.
For the last official D&G show before the brand before it folds into the main line, Stefano and Domenico sent out a colorful, printed celebration for Spring 2012. The collection was full of butterflies, flowers, paisleys, dots, and chains in neon colors in styles ranging from maxi dresses to tiny bikini bottoms. It was certainly a fun way to end the party!
